POP.ED is an international project that combines Global Citizenship Education with pop culture to make youth work more engaging and accessible.

Objectives

This project aims to make Global Citizenship Education more relevant, engaging, and accessible for young people by combining it with pop culture and innovative youth work methods. It focuses on strengthening critical thinking, intercultural understanding, democratic participation, and awareness of global issues, while encouraging inclusive and co-creative involvement of young people.

Through cross-border cooperation, the project will develop:

  • Practical learning tools
  • A 10-unit curriculum
  • An NFE Toolkit for youth workers
  • Training and pilot activities
  • A multimedia Youth Manifesto

This manifesto will amplify young people’s voices and support dialogue with decision-makers.
